ENJOY NANJING

Nanjing is a sub-provincial city, the capital of Jiangsu province and the second largest city in Eastern China. Situated in the Yangtze River Delta region, Nanjing has a prominent place in Chinese history and culture. It had been a major center of culture, education, research, politics, economy, transport networks and tourism and the home to one of the world’s largest inland ports.

When business is over, Nanjing has plenty of activities for visitors to enjoy:

The museum has over 400,000 items in its permanent collection, making it one of the largest in China. Especially notable is the museum’s enormous collections of Ming and Qing imperial porcelain.

PORECELAIN TOWER

The people of China called it Bao’ensi, the “Temple of Gratitude”. By day, the bricks glittered in the sun, and at night they were illuminated by perhaps as many as 140 lamps hanging around the exterior of the pagoda.

Niushoushan

Niushoushan is a newly-developed cultural park in the southern suburb of Nanjing. It is themed by Buddhist culture especially Buddha’s Relic. For tourists, it is a great place to explore the region’s ancient Buddhist roots.

Qinhuai River

It flows through central Nanjing and is called “Nanjing’s mother river”. It is the “life blood” of the city. The scenic belt along the Qinhuai River meets with the Confucius Temple at the center. The belt is a blend of historic sites, gardens, barges, streets, pavilions, towers, folk culture and customs. It flows past attractions such as Zhanyuan Garden, the Confucius Temple, Egret Islet and China Gate.
