CARFED SA has the widest range of collapsible and non-collapsible plastic chicken crates to haul live birds. These crates are available with perforated or solid bottom and with different styles and number of doors. Our range consists of:

Baskets
The Multi 100 and Multi 110 can also be supplied as baskets. The baskets do not have a lid and side gates, but a designed with an open top. When using baskets you can load and unload birds through the open top, which has several advantages:
• Reduction of damaging and bruising the animals whilst loading or unloading
• Rapid loading and unloading of animals
• Better labour conditions for your employees
The Multi 100 and Multi 110 baskets can be used placed in metal frames, like ‘drawers’. Most Carfed crates and baskets are shipped disassembled (collapsed) to save freight costs.

Carfed also manufactures higher crates for larger birds, e.g. turkeys, ducks and geese
