Over the years Haarslev Industries have specialised in processing equipment for handling animal by-products, including poultry. We define animal by-products as animal carcasses, parts of carcasses or other products of animal origin that are not intended for human consumption, for example feather.

Rendering of these by-products not only solves a waste problem, it also creates high grade end products with good markets value, such as meat and bone meal and animal fats.

Haarslev industries manufactures processing equipment to customers in the rendering , fish, oil, environmental protection and bio fuel industries world-wide. With new production facilities in China we are able to work near the market and near the customer, enabling us to offer low prices and faster delivery. At the present rendering plants from Haarslev Industries are successfully working all over Asia, in for example China, India, Thailand, Japan, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Indonesia, Korea and Malaysia.

During VIV China 2010 Haarslev Industries will launch our Feather Press to the Asian market. The press offers an impressive pay-back to the customer in terms of energy savings (when rendering) and weight savings (when transporting) due to the large amount of water removed. In absolute terms the press removes around 350 litres of water per 1,000 kg of wet feather that come from a feather separator.
