The International China Summit is a combination of:
1.- plenary conference, focusing on trends of the role of livestock in food security
2.- series of walk-in seminars, focusing on technical best practices and farm management solutions
Plenary conference (10h-12h)
Rabobank will provide the first of 4 speakers and will publish a new report, followed by an invitation-only round table discussion in the afternoon. Alltech's Mark Lyons is the second speaker. The other 2 speakers will soon be released. Key audience, apart from visitors who mainly attend for the afternoon program, will consist of:
- policy makers
- integrators
- large feed manufacturers
- large farm owners
- exhibitors VIV China 2012
The language will be English, with simultaneous translation into Chinese.
Walk-in seminars (13h-15h30)
This includes 30-minute slots where we host two kinds of companies with their presentation:
- media partners
- exhibitors VIV China 2012
These Walk-in seminars are on topics which are relevant for tomorrow's Chinese livestock professionals, whether these are farmers, nutritionists, engineers, feed producers, breeders, processors. In total there will be 5 rooms with parallel presentations.
The attendance of some 400 professionals is expected throughout the full program. Lunch will be provided. The ICS is free for all attendees, upon pre-registration.
